Troubleshooting

• Permissions. The server needs to be able to write to the directory that the messages go to.
• Make sure the log file exists
• Make sure that /usr/bin/perl exists and is version 5.0 or later.
• Check your configurations. Be sure that you know what the translated path of your directories is.
• Make sure the scripts are in a directory that your server recognizes as a home for executables.
• If you reconfigure your httpd server, you must restart for the changes to be made.
• Look at the source that the script files are generating. Make sure that it is doing what you think it is doing.

I cannot offer any extra support or advice beyond what is included in the on-line documentation. Please do not send me email asking for help setting up your server, for I will not have time to answer it.
